A staple English food in a staple of London shopping. The Westfield fish and chip restaurant (or should I say, Chip and FIsh). Located in the huge food area within Westfield, this was my choice of lunch for the day. I try to vary my cuisine every time I’m in Westfield to give my taste buds a slight shake up in flavour.I’m no stranger to fish and chips having grown up having it every Friday with the family. So I would like to consider myself a slight expert within this area of English cuisine. The main things that I like are a good sized cod that doesn’t look as if it was killed just as it has become a teenager in some cod farm across England. I like a Cod that looks as if it has grown and matured in the Atlantic. The fish here was a reasonable size and was very well battered, giving it a good taste overall. Definitely would go again just for the fish.Then there is the chips, I like a healthy portion of chips with a fair bit of salt and vinegar, it was here chip + fish didn’t disappoint. However, I think that it is very hard to get wrong.You’ll have no issues with plate size or seating areas being in Westfield, there is always enough space. Definitely consider this a place for lunch when your doing your Christmas shopping this Winter.
