Its a nice intimate venue serving Algerian food, a few minutes walk from Maryland Station; I visited this place for a post-race lunch with some friends. There was about 12 of us for an early lunch on a Sunday; we had the place to ourselves. The food was nice, though it did take a long time to come to the table the food was freshly prepared and made. I went straight for the mains and had the Mixed Kebabs with spicy rice it was well seasoned and of a good portion. I also had the mint tea (they do not serve alcohol) which is really rice with 1 teaspoon (or maybe half if youre not a sugar fiend like me) of sugarMaybe it was because were a large group, but considering that there was no one else at the restaurant at the time, the service was a bit slow. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat at Arabian Garden; however if I am in the area I would visit Arabian Garden again. lifeofchi.co.uk

Not much to look at, but I enjoyed my lunch here. A varied mezze menu with plenty of unusual dishes.Welcoming staff who tried to teach me correct pronunciation of my order. The standout dish was the Lamb Fattet Shawarma, with dry fried spicy lamb mince mixed with croutons made from squares of deep fried pita and dollops of yoghurt. Another exceptional dish was Battata Hara, little cubes of potato panfried deep brown with sweet peppers and chilli. Moutabel (grilled aubergine mashed with tahini, garlic and lemon) was a more common mezze menu item, but extraordinarily good.Very well priced with most mezze in the 3 to 3.75 range. No alcohol.
