Best restaurant in Twickenham!. I came to Arthur’s last week for a late lunch and it was just fantastic. It is located on Twickenham Green, and the views are breathtaking. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great too – lovely music playing and happy, diners chatted whilst lovely waitresses buzzed around chatting to people. As it was Sunday we all of course had a roast – pork belly with apple sauce for me, roast beef for my daughter and roast venison for my husband, all served with unlimited roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings. The food was phenomenal, and we didn’t need to order any of the extras because the portion sizes were very generous. We shared a lovely bottle of an organic Malbec which was really something special. My husband and I then shared a huge cheese plate with a lovely selection, and my daughter had a very chocolatey brownie. Great location, great staff, great food and great value for money.
Visited for breakfast…Amazing location, nicely decorated HOWEVER awful coffee and a highly average breakfast – more what you’d expect from a travel lodge cafe than a cute place on a village green. Lots of potential but on this occasion very disappointing
Terrible service, overpriced, rude staff. Despite giving this restaurant several opportunities to win me over, as its in a lovely setting and beautifully decorated, I have found the staff quite rude, they rush you to order and seem annoyed when asked questions, the cakes I’ve had were quite stale and overall not very accommodating to people with children (despite many mum and baby regulars). Also, for the type of food it is very overpriced.I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I be visiting again! Don’t waste your money or time here.
Glad to be local to Arthur’s. Arthur’s is our restaurant of choice. A lovely setting even on a rainy day. Lovely, friendly staff; the right stuff on the menu for lunchtimes and weekend family outings. Delicious food, and great for a coffee and cake and letting the kids run on the Green on a Sunday afternoon. We’re so glad it’s our local.
10/10. Arthur’s on the Green is a quirky little restaurant in Twickenham. With views over Twickenham Green, this is my favourite place to spend a summer’s evening out dining. The food is always excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The menu is varied, served in healthy hearty portions and there are dishes to suit all budgets. A personal favourite is the fillet steak – always cooked to perfection! What makes Arthur’s so special is its cosy, relaxing atmosphere and vibrant decor. And if it couldn’t get any better, Arthur’s holds themed evenings with cuisine and wines from around the world, wine tasting, opera and film. Highly recommended!
Really good. Sits on the corner of twickenham green with fully windowed wall giving great views across the green. The intimate interior is decorated in a traditional way.The food here is fantastic, its typical British bistro fayre but of exceptional quality. I had the chicken and mushroom pie and come honestly say its one of the best I’ve ever had. It leans a little to the pricey side but is well worth it.If your on a budget there is a 12.95 for two courses set menu. It offers a reasonable choice of starters and mains and is a good place to start.Overall a big thumbs up. Really liked it
Dinner/Breakfast on the Green. Great local restaurant, a simple well thought out menu and a relaxed atmosphere overlooking Twickenham Green.Staff are always friendly and the food is freshly prepared in the small kitchen. Also very good for a Sunday morning fry up!
