Great place, just need to improve the steak as the sauce provided doesn’t go well with the meat. Lovely lamb shank and salmon starter. Ideal for a private quiet night on a weekday. Worth visiting once.
Bit hit and miss. Service was friendly but sloppy e.g. lost our coats, seated us next to a shouty drunken work party despite there being free unreserved tables much further away, things like that ruin an evening and are just plain clueless. Was served by 2 or 3 different waiters and dudes dont fill my wineglass without asking first. Had to put a napkin over my glass to stop the over keen waiter getting me drunk. Food ok, location lovely but don’t think I would go back, the service tries hard but is a bit clumsy
