As a local l have visited bar 61 in many occasions always ordered from a la carte menu and i found the food very tasty.staff extremely friendly and hospitable atmosphere and service second to none.i have been with friends as well and they share the same view with me.i recommend this place highly for any occasion.
Great family restaurant. I’ve known it for years and eat there regularly. Whether a tapas meal of a full one always good. Nice wine list reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Do go
Hahaha!. Find these glwing reviews hilarious reading. Whoever are these discerning diners that describe this place as fantastic!!!The food is beyond ordinary and the menu never ever changes, there are no pecials, no nod at seasonal produce and the wine is, argely, rubbish.The family are sweet enough, but to have such aforing reviews is simply bizaar.
Bar 61 Streatham. A lovely Bar to have a quiet drink or bite to eat,set close to Streatham Hil BR station it has a wide selection of botlled beers,spirits and wine by the glass or bottle.The staff and always very friendly upon arrival and tend to your every need be it one drink or a three course meal I would highly recommend this place to anybody who happens to be looking for a relaxed nightout with resonable price food and drink five stars
An absolute gem! Great friendly atmosphere. You might be mistaken for thinking you’ve been transported to fin de sicle Paris but no you are still in Streatham although we very quickly forgot about that. We started off in the bar and had a few tapas and then moved to the restaurant in the back. My partners grilled sea bass was cooked to perfection and my steak au poivre was simply divine. Finished off with dessert wine and coffee. Wonderful evening! And very reasonably priced. So good to find a traditional family run bar and restaurant in this part of town where standards are so high. We will be back!
Great Bar 61. I have been using Bar 61 with a friend of mine for 18 month’s now and I have found it to be a pleasent place to have a relaxing drink. The staff are friendly and welcoming and willing to have a chat when the restaurant is not busy. Bar 61 is popular with people of all ages and I seen customers coming back time after time, they have a extensive range of wines and spirits, though the beer is served by the bottle.If you live or are visiting Streatham, Bar 61 is well worth a visit.
