  First impressions are bad it’s nicely styled like an American dinner but they just have a tv playing and listening to the pg tips advert kinda kills the mood. Service is slow and a one point u thought I had to go and order at the counter. However they have a good menu and I’m looking forward to seeing if they can pull it off. There royal shake is amazing and one of the nicest I’ve had I can even forgive the take out cup. So I really like burgers and this was disappointing I ordered the all star there headline act and well it tasted like a Burger King which is fine but at 9.99 for a burger I can just go to BK and get it a lot quicker and cheaper. The bottom bun is far tooting got the filling and it melted away.Not a bad burger but not one I’d recommend. Come for shakes and ice cream if you want hot food there is a Nando’s across the street.

  THE BEST BURGERS IN TOWN!I am so delighted that this ‘American Diner’ has popped up here in SW London, something that we lacked for so long. The food here is to die for.I have been here a few times and tried different burgers, my fav. defiantly ‘The Nacho Macho’ and ‘The All Star Burger’The burgers are thick and juicy and taste amazingly good and to top it all off they have an amazing desserts menu too, with proper thick american shakes and you can choose from tons of different flavors, also the oreo cheesecake was heavenly.THIS PLACE IS A MUST VISIT, NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

  I don’t know how you could say this place is so bad. It is cheaper than most burger joints, and tastier too!. Their is a wide variety and the desert menu is separate from the main menu making it much easier to read. The Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, and the burgers and hot dogs are fabulous! Would recommend one of the special burgers, especially the star o the show. The only problem is the bacon overpowers the burger, and all burgers have too much cheese. The Nacho burger is crunchy, the chili is homemade and delicious over hot dogs and nachos, though don’t get a double burger, as no one in our group could finish a single! The chips are delicious and steak cut, and milkshakes bring the restaurant to a whole new level! Would definitely go again to try the wide range of American food

  this place needs to appoint a manager with some experience in this kind of operation.. definitely a lot of style but scratch beneath the surface and sadly the basics are not even being covered. sad as this place had such promise. unless things change drastically and quickly ,its doomed !!

  So what’s happening here then? This restaurant promises much but sadly fails to deliver and is very much a case of style over substance. The Hollywood Grill offers an American diner experience (although one sign claims they offer American dinner!) but at the moment there are too many faults to warrant a visit.First things first, they don’t have one menu but two, one for burgers and meals and the other for desserts and milkshakes, with each one several pages long. Not only is this a waste of our planets trees but it results in a confusing and long-winded customer experience. Why not just have one menu with everything in it? Or even a single page menu? There’s also only one till which resulted in a delay in taking then placing my order.They’ve only been open for a few weeks and teathing problems are to be expected but it all looks a bit chaotic, with people bumping into each other and not really knowing what they are doing. One of the staff members also seemed to be more interested in getting his mates a discount then anything else that was happening around him.I ordered the ‘Million Dollar Thick’ burger (a beef burger with ‘Swiss’ cheese, portobello mushrooms, ‘turkey bacon’, lettuce and tomato) with fries and a peanut butter milkshake. 2 minutes later my burger was served and this instantly aroused my suspicion – why had it taken them less time to produce my burger and fries compared to my milkshake? Once I’d taken a bite it was quite clear, the burger had not been grilled to order! The bun started falling apart as soon as I lifted the thing up, the mushroom was squidgy and tasteless, the Swiss cheese in fact American cheese and the whole thing reeked of having been heated up or re-heated. The fries were bog standard and the milkshake was very strange indeed, sort of peanut buttery but sort of not, with an odd texture and generally just not very pleasant.I’ve recently come back from the States and visited places like Denny’s where they know exactly how to make and prepare a good, decent burger, cooked to order. This place is, I’m afraid to say, is a long, long way from even being good. I had really high hopes for this restaurant and was excited about it before I visited but now I am deeply disappointed. I sincerely hope the owners do something about it because there is a big market for this sort of cuisine – look at Ed’s as an example – but unfortunately the Hollywood Grill needs a lot of work before it can cater for it.Avoid 🙁
