Here at The Oxford Wine Cafe we aim to bring you wines with a focus on the smaller boutique style producers who are making wine with real passion. We have a wide range of wines available by both the glass and the bottle. Our by the glass selection changes frequently thereby keeping our list fresh and giving you maximum choice and the chance to get to know many different wine styles. All our wines are served out of the very best Riedel glassware to give you the tasting experience that you deserve. Why drink a great wine out of an inferior glass? We serve a simple but tasty selection of food to compliment our wines - this ranges from sharing boards available from 11.00Am-9.00Pm to paninis, salads and quiches served between 11.00Am-3.00Pm. The Cafe is a well established quality jazz concert venue which features top acts free of charge every Sunday from 6.30-9.00Pm. People come to listen to the jazz, have a glass of wine and some light food. The music is always varied and very popular so get there early to get your seat! We run regular tastings that feature many well known winemakers and MWs but these are never formal events - they are designed to be accessible to everyone, whatever their interests in wine may be. Theo's Tasty Tuesday tastings take place once a month and are especially designed to be a humorous introduction to the world of wine - it's a great way to have a laugh and learn about wine. The conservatory is a great chill out space during the daytime with a relaxed feel, newspapers and wi fi. Many people find the Cafe to be a small haven of peace in an increasingly busy world where you can meet friends and enjoy the wines you want at a great price. Evenings and jazz nights are when the action takes place and the Cafe buzzes with activity, especially on weekend evenings.
