They never pick up the phone when you are trying to order take away, guess you have to order and wait there.. Bit disappointing to be honest.
I hope I can stop raving. This has been one of the most surprising, satisfying discoveries of my time in London so far. A shady looking place with throwaway rates sounds anything but promising. We took the risk and went in to find this pretty well appointed restaurant. It was full, full of non-Indians at that! Our steward certainly knew his job well as he warned us that a curry would be sweet and he could adapt it to our liking. And lo and behold, it was very much to our liking. We had the matar paneer, chapattis, veg biryani and poppadoms. Each dish was just simple, non oily, delicious home food. I hope they are consistent.. and if they are, this restaurant is just a gem.
Poor quality but incredibly cheap!
I will not be going back to this restaurant, the food was terrible it really didn’t taste as it should. Something definatly wasn’t right.
East India is a brillient place to go and have a yummy curry! The atmosphere is great the food is amazing and if you pay cash the whole meal is half price! Now that’s a credit crunching deal!
