One of the more popular cafes on Victoria Street. Very limited veggie options and the ones that do exist, dont seem to have received a lot of love. I am not a fan of the classic brie and cranberry sandwich to start with. Pickled Pantrys rindy brie (could it have been stale?) and overly sweet cranberry jam did nothing to change that. I might give their pricey salads a go someday but overall, the poor food and high prices made for a disappointing experience. Service not great either.
I thought the customer service here was poor ; the tables and chairs were messy, covered in food and detritus. Added to this the service when paying took an age too! Having said this, the food was fine. Nothing special though. A hearty ham sandwich and a tasty pea soup; what you’d expect i suppose
