An unassuming little bakers in a back street of Tavistock. But the most superb products! The freshly baked bread is amazing, but tends to sell out by early afternoon. Try the cherry Bakewells and Custard Tarts – heavenly!

Anthony makes the greatest pasties !! And the yummiest cakes ,I always get my bread rolls baked goods and his jam doughnuts are better than anywhere else !!
My daughter came home from work yesterday with a huge black forest gateau for my birthday which she had ordered , and it was gorgeous ! There isn’t a lot more to say , you will not be disappointed .Go and have a look
After being let down the night before my sister’s 21st birthday on her cake, i contacted cakes bakes n shakes and with a few hours notice them managed to make an amazing cake for us, tasted incredible and looked amazing. Would recommend them too everyone!!!!
