A hole in the wall, with sparse seating. Better as a takeaway probably. Evidently very popular among locals and office-goers. They come in herds, literally. The coffee is great, keeping it simple, with only a couple of blends. Serve filter coffee in conical flasks … nice! bengalibiped.blogspot.com
Homey Atmosphere. Good Service.I expected a better experience at the Alchemy Caf. Indeed, the place is quite small and my coffee wasnt great. It was lacking flavour, but well filtered. Above all, the staff was welcoming and nice, ready to explain and answer to any special need. Prices are average. You should spend around 10 for a break and eat some sweets or have breakfast. I would say it was not the best out of my Londons coffee but fine. Give it a try.
Known place for coffee. If in London must visit if possible as it is located on a back street in London city. They serve a variety of coffee from different countries. The place is too small and can barely accommodate a bigger group of people. They also sell a couple of coffee makers and other related instruments that are reasonable and can be purchased there itself.I am not sure how they manage during rush time as the place is small. The person at the counter is well versed with what they serve and has good knowledge about their products.
Nice modern cafe down the back streets of City of London. Its very small though with only around 7 or 8 seats in total, so I imagine would get quite full around busy times. They had run out of a few of the coffees which was a shame. The gentleman serving though was good at explaining what they did have, and was keen to teach me about the different blends they did have to offer. He also took time to show another customer how the coffee grinder worked, and how it effects the flavour depending on what setting you use. Always refreshing to see such helpful and enthusiastic staff!!
