I took a friend here for cocktails as I had a 4 drinks for 16 voucher. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night but the service was still great. With all the seats being taken on the ground floor (there were only a few), we went downstairs to find 2 booths, a sofa and slightly dim lighting. We went for these:- Lychee Bellini – a change on the Italian classic, served with Kwai Feh Lychee liqueur, fresh lychees and Prosecco.- Old Fashioned – one of the originals, Woodford Reserve slowly stirred with Angostura and Orange bitters with a cube of sugar- Caribbean Passion – Bacardi 8 rum, Apricot brandy liqueur, fresh passion fruit, a hint of lime sweetened with Vanilla liqueur.- Caipirinha – Brazilian drink. Abelha Cachaca, fresh lime and sugar. The fruity ones were mine and out of the two, I much preferred the Lychee Bellini 🙂 I found the passion fruit was too sharp and slightly bitter to enjoy. My friend enjoyed both of his and was happy to drink anything I couldn’t finish!Nice atmosphere, with great drinks. I would come back here again 🙂 makebaketravel.blogspot.com
