Great late lunch small menu but everything so fresh and well prepared staff delightful and wine even more so would go back in a heartbeat well done chaps !!!!
Fantastic hidden gem. We didn’t try the food but walked in on a Monday. The servers first of all were fabulous. Friendly, attentive, and genuine. More so – they were knowledgeable about wine and guided us to a bottle. It happened to be retail price Mondays – which we hadn’t known about when we walked in.The place has ample room for private parties and is very nicely decorated. Will definitely return on my next visit to London.
The best part of this place is the staff, very helpful, nice, funny and honest. When we ordered coffee they were very clear they were not a coffee shop so the coffee may not be amazing, after all the warning anyway we ordered coffee and was good.Wine selection was great, share platters were nice in taste. The only downside was the didn’t have Argentinian wines (we were after a good Argentinian Malbec); but we got a Chilean which was good.Great place to sit and chat, music was there but not really loud and nice environment. We were a group of five and had a great time, for couples is also an ideal place.Go you wont regret. Be mindful, it is not cheap as they have good wines, however, the flight tasting of the month is 13 and you get to try 4 different wines in good quantity
Lovely cavernous space with light greyish woods. We attended the discounted soft launch where the menu was still limited to sharing platters. The two of us shared the meat platter of charcuterie and the vegetable platter. Both came with lovely focaccio studded with rosemary and garlic. The meat platter was pleasant with braesola, prosciutto, salami as well as a spicy chorizo-like salami whose name I can’t remember. The vegetable platter was quite stunning. Roast butternut squash marinated in garlic was the standout on the plate. There was also a whole roast aubergine, roast baby carrots with cumin and beetroot with morcocan spices as well as stuffed courgette. I would only fault this dish in that it needed a sharp note such as salsa verde or tapenade especially on the slightly bland courgette. We finished with the only dessert on the menu, which was a trio of ice creams. The elderflower sorbet was really memorable.
