Fun tiki-themed bar, with good music for dancing (commercial/ RnB). The cocktails are delicious, try the rum runner. On a Saturday there was a nice varied and friendly crowd.
Kanaloa is a tiki themed bar in the City that has a variety of cool tiki tend cocktails available. The vip area upstairs is where we were sat and it is a bit too far out of the way. Just us in out own so only atmosphere came from us. As the club is based in the centre of London the drinks are obviously expensive but the drinks are high quality. Bouncers seemed reasonable had a guy who had drank too much and was asked to walk it off. He did and they actually let him back in. studdedkissesblog.co.uk
Kanaloa isn’t a bad old place for a few cocktails if you’re out in the city, although it’s a little inconveniently placed for a late night dash for the last tube home. However, it’s open ’til 3am so if you’ve ended up here on a Friday night you might as well forget that stumble home and expect to find an Uber receipt in your inbox in the morning.Calling itself a Tiki Paradise, you won’t be surprised that the decor and ambiance is Hawaiian and if you book a party here, expect to be decorated with leis. It gets pretty busy, but the staff are attentive and friendly. The finger food is tasty and perfect for sharing – we had voodoo chicken wings and a few Island Laue Platters including beef sashimi, thai crackers, dim sum, chilli squid and baby back ribs. However the food here really takes a back seat to the cocktails, which can be ordered individually or in chests to share (or not, if you can handle your drinks better than I do). They aren’t cheap so don’t come here if you’re on a budget, but they’re certainly tasty. Lucky for me Mat Braddyhad his credit card out 😉 whatsarahdoes.com
Kanalo is a Tiki Paradise where everyone is promised a great night! We had gone a few days ago for a friends birthday where everyone was welcomed with garlands and drinks, a great start to the night! The decor of this club reminds you of a fancy tropical island where one can enjoy amazing music and drinks! The range of cocktails that Kanaloa has to offer is extensive and exotic, my personal favourite there was the Blue mountain which is a mix of rum, gin and grapefruit…might not sound that nice, but I promise you, you will be surprised!Kanaloa is a great place to go on the weekend with friends, especially since its open till 3 in the morning! The pricing for this was also pretty good, especially considering everything that was provided to us! We only paid 10 pounds entry compared to most clubs which usually charge 20! Would recommend Kanaloa if you haven’t been there yet!
Being in the City, Kanaloa is a hotspot for after work drinks that offer creative cocktails and nice nibbles. If there’s a group of you, check out the sharer cocktails – very fun and gets things going for the night. The Hawaiian themed interiors and menu also changes things up to a normal bar/club you go to.I celebrated my birthday there with about 20 friends and had a great time – from the helpful staff, music, platters of food and drinks! They have set packages for different sized parties/budgets, which can also be customised. The packages include free entry for guests before 11pm. By 11pm, they mean 11pm! We arrived 10 minutes after and had to pay 10 each, so watch out for that!
If you are a fan of cocktails, this is the place for you. Starting from cocktails served within fruits, some signature cocktails like chest of fire (for 10 ppl) is worth a try. Hawaiin ambience. The place has a small dance floor as well.Very popular place for after work drinks. nice choice of food as well (nachos are lovely).Make sure you book in advance. One of the few places offering happy hour upto 8pm from Monday to Friday.
