The setup at Le Petit Nantais is brilliant and it’s no wonder that it has so many regulars. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with tiny white lights draped around the restaurant and a front of house always there to greet the diners. The talented accordion player plays at exactly the right volume and it really is a nice atmosphere in which to dine. The food is delicious, though a little small in portion and the specials menu is well thought-out and extensive; monkfish and salmon, from this set of specials were both delicious but more expensive than other dishes by a few pounds. The monkfish was definitely overpriced in my view, at 24.95 for a small portion but this is a small qualm. Le Petit Nantais offers a great evening nonetheless.
