Visited the pub last Friday to watch the World Cup friendly. Sat in a corner well out of the way looking forward to the match. All 5 adults: my partner, daughter of 19, cousin and her partner had alcoholic drinks but my son of 15 obviously had a soft drink. We all ordered food and second round in we’re asked to leave because of my son being under age. We explained we had food ordered and after speaking to three members of staff and eventually the manager negotiated that we could have a refund for our food and finish our round. To our horror a security man came over to us after about five minutes to tell us we needed to drink up as we were ‘taking the pi**’. Very inhospitable and rude pub and staff, in our experience.
