Early evening meal,sunday.. Dark restaurant,lights kept going out. Worst onion bhajis I’ve ever had,dry flat and tasteless. The main courses tasted as if they had been sitting around for hours,my lamb unpleasant,not fresh.won’t be going back. Harrogate has many good restaurants,this was a poor choice.
Great indian food. We recently visited Jinnah for dinner. It was really delicious and you get a lot for your money. We had the buffet and for 10 pounds you get two large starters, full access to the buffet and tons of nan bread. Great value AND great food. I was surprised by the quality for the price. The service was also very friendly and prompt. The ambiance is also very nice. We have dined at another Indian place across the street a few times and I now understand why they are always empty, Jinnah is taking their business away because they offer more value and better food. I would highly recommend this place!!
Awful – Don’t Bother. We decided to try the buffet for 9.95 even though there weren’t a great many main meals offered. Although the starters were very good the buffet was so bad I couldn’t eat it. The prawn aloo had prawns with the consistency of pencil rubbers and chewy potatoes. The curry sauces were uniformly watery – like those cheap boil in the bag curries you can buy. The chicken was that horrible reformed cube chicken. When I asked for a clean plate the waiter handed me a used plate of another table and told me to scrape my plate onto that. Obviously complained and we were told that this is what happens when curries are left standing on the buffet. The management weren’t interested in dealing with the issue so I suggest that you save your money and find somewhere to eat in Harrogate.
It’s absoloutely wonderful , the buffet is the best , for only10 you can get all you can eat of about 6 or 8 different currys so you have a lot if choice ,or you can try it all!!!!!

Buffet is superb. About 8 different curry’s to choose from plus a starter and nan bread all for about a 10 can’t go wrong
