Guaranteed to please. We go often. However, service is European partial to staying out of your way–they are easily nabbed if you do need them. All the dishes have a distinct flavor and they have a good wine list.
Great food, service varies. I’ve been to the Orchid four times now – the food has always been excellent, particularly the Weeping Tiger! The service though has been hit and miss, once we got a great waiter who really looked after us (should have got his name) but more recently the service was particularly poor – rushed and unfriendly.
Excellent!. Put on 1/2 a stone since moving to Harrogate, because of this place. My favourites are the Weeping Tiger, Tom Ka chicken soup, Mieng Gai,, Yum yum. I have 3 months left on my contract working in this lovely town and will miss this restaurant!
The food is no better than most other Thai/oriental restaurants and is extremely expensive in comparison to most. The place is dark and cramped. I really don’t know what all the fuss is about.
This place is quite special. It’s one we go to for a treat. Food has always been fantastic and service is exceptional. Take a visit if you are in Harrogate
Super. My favourite restaurant in Harrogate by far!! Favourite dishes – Steamed seabass with ginger and spring onions- Soft Shell Crab!! Yummy
You will never eat Thai food this good in the uk, outstanding restaurant, book in advance, as always packed! Simon
