Best chip shop ever! We get the train from Leicester to Nottingham, just to eat chips at Carringtons! Great service and amazing food. Fantastic portion sizes and properly cooked chips!!! Highly recommend this place!!! The train ticket over from Leicester is worth it!
The fish was nothing special dry and not tasty at all the chips were awful the price was normal and there isn’t enough space to eat in, only 5 people could eat here,and everything was unsalted.
I popped in to feed my hunger and had chips fishcake and burger. The burger was cooked especially for me. The food was very nice and walked out full.
Stopped for a mixed kebab on the way to the train station and it was superb! The Nan was brilliant and the meat was so tender, I didn’t want it to end. Great service, will definitely return. Thanks Carringtons
