Housed within a grade II listed building on the beautiful Low Pavement in Nottingham, Cartwheel Caf and Roastery is the first coffee house in Nottingham to roast its own coffee on site. Wanting to bring a sense of play to the serious business of food and coffee, we have created a soft modern caf space, offering full table service, a coffee take-out bar, and on site coffee roastery. Bringing you the finest beans from around the world, sourced and roasted on site by our coffee specialist, we will give you the opportunity to learn about what you are drinking and choose, not only the beans, but the brew method to be delivered by our trained baristas. Serving our breakfast, all day brunch and lunch menus, we cater not only for those with dietary requirements, but those who want beautifully made food at cafe prices. Been going to Cartwheel for a couple of years. The staff are fantastic. The Japanese tea is the best around. But what has happened to the food here? Have had to return the Daal twice now in the last couple of weeks, as unedible!
Brilliant place. Iced glass of water on arrival was a great little touch.Breakfast was delicious I recommend the sausage focaccia.An all male service team was a pleasant surprise too!
Love this little place. The coffee is really great, and the vibe in there is cool. Worth a stop for a cake / pastry too, the bakery stuff always looks amazing.
Cartwheel has a great range of hot drinks and is in a quiet location very close to central Nottingham, but less crowded. Fairly small, but cosy indoor seating and an outdoor seating area. The staff were really friendly!
Attractive quirky little cafe with good quality food and drink. There is a well thought out selection of teas and coffees. They are not cheap but they are good and represent value for money
