Recommended by a friend. A tiny little place set in the heart of the city. Area wise it’s a small place but you will be amazed with the rush of people wanting to grab a bite here. If you want a nice home touch feel to your food which is not too heavy on your pocket, then this is the exact place you need to be at. They have a huge variety of open sandwiches and also serve pasta, which I didn’t order but looked delicious on the plate of other customers. This place is a little cramped so you might have to share the table with other foodies.

We decided to try again for a late lunch and I am so glad that we did because it was awesome and definitely an experience. The Italian Chicken Sloppy Joe was so so good and I would love to go back to here the next time I’m in town. – I took a photo of the Italian Sloppy Joe but ate more than half of it before I remembered I even had a camera with me.
This is simply the best sandwich shop I have ever been to, unbelievable value for money, awesome portion sizes and the bacon, pepper, salsa and halumi sarnie is immense! They also do rice and pasta dishes which are also great! The only downside to this place is the lunchtime que!
Must go and visit place. You will not find a welcome any warmer than here. Lovely people and wide choice of home cooked food. A place where you will return to time and time again.
Very yummy indeed!. I took my brother and sister-in-law here yesterday. She works in the hospitality trade and is a real foodie who really knows her stuff. To say they were bowled over by the food at Brown Bettys would be an understatement! The food was delicious, as I knew it would be, fresh and tasty and incredibly good value for money. They were very happy customers who now wish that there was a Brown Bettys in Brighton.
Mmmmmmmmmm. I dream of their food! They have everything made fresh and the taste of it is the most important thing for them and they serve it with a smile. Sandwiches are numerous and it can be overwhelming when you go in (very small place menu on the walls), I would have to say just choose one and try it, I’ve NEVER had any bad food from them in 9 years of going there.
