Great place for tea, coffee and cake etc before or after a walk in South Weald or nearby. A warm refuge in winter and a lovely country stop in the summer.
A lovely setting and the food was good too but had to wait over an hour for our food and there was a good 30 minutes between the first person and last person receiving their lunch. Such a shame. Would think twice about going back.
Have been a few times, and it’s one of my favourite places, it’s lovely and warm inside, you feel like you’re in a living room, and everyone is very kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit
We went here for lunch on our way home from Brentwood. The home cooked food was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful! It’s quite new so I wish them all the best we will be back!
