Not there anymore. It is now a kabab house. It’s shut down. 2017 closed. The Bengal is our Indian in thapston now. Or Thrapston Tandori. Both can be good. Both can be just ok.
Thrapston has no less that 3 Asian restaurants, plus other takeaways. The Bonophool is without doubt the best food. Unfortunately the dining experience could be better, but give it a try.
Ordered the tika special, alleged to contain chicken, lamb and PRAWNS, only one problem, NOT ONE PRAWN IN IT!!!should have ordered the lamb tika after all, that’s all I got!!
This is a great little takeaway/ restaurant, however, we did not have a big meal and it was expensive for the actual meal and two drinks, London Prices without the pizzazz!
