Very unfriendly. This used to be an excellent gastro pub. However, a change of landlord has resulted in a downturn in the quality of food and drinks (the Carling was undrinkable). The pub looks dirty and smells of cigarette smoke – the main customers were drinkers who were intimidating, loud and offensive.
After recent refurb we where not disapointed with both the food and the decor,the trio of fishcakes fantastic!!
Modern British cooking in lovely country pub situated right on the dock. Exiting specials and good seafood when available. Highly recommended.
