Licenced Caf Bistro & Bistro by Night. With a complete renovation and new menu the current proprietors of the Lantern have truly shaken off its old 'chip shop cafe' persona. Clean, bright and welcoming the cafe bistro by day produces excellent breakfast and lunchtime meals and snacks whilst each Friday evening* it becomes a fine dining restaurant. Though staple favourites, that have become so popular, remain the menu has been updated to include a range of cosmopolitan lunchtime and evening meals plus all day snacks. Utilising wholesome and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients the standard menu is enhanced by seasonally inspired specials. Naturally you can also expect to find a range of teas, coffees and home and handmade cakes & pastries. *March to December
