First time to Kava. Cant believe that they have only been open 4 weeks. Fantastic vegy and gluten free food. Atmosphere, food and music, (although i heard a rumour that the chef used to be with The Smiths, so you would expect the music selection to be eclectic, which it is). It’s really surprising to find this sort of cafe, outside of the metropolis cities.I found the welcome to be warm, and the menu exciting, next time I think i will try the Halloumi salad. Oh as well as the tea, I had a frsh orange juice, oranges pulled down from the shelves and hand squeezed by sveta, using some sort of cast iron contraption, pure theatre.It was a gorgeous sunny day, unfortunately the outside seating area was fully occupied, but I made up for it by strolling down the canal opposite, which if I kept going, would lead me to Hebden Bridge, but why go there when kava is here?
