Tables booked for 8.30pm. We arrived on time only to find that people where still eating and even taking orders at the table after we arrived. We were forced to wait over an hour to be seated. To prevent further delays we had to order our food whilst standing. We were seated at 10pm. Staff members told us that the guest that where currently seated at our table arrived much later than their actual booking time. However tables where over booked and there was clearly not enough time given inbetween slots. Horrible experience for both parties as neither of us were to blame for the restaurants lack of organisation.Gave the restaurant our birthday cake and asked for all candles (x10) and 3 sparklers be on the cake. The cake came out with sparklers lit with unlit candles on the cake. When the sparklers faded there were no candles to blow out!!! To make matters worse, the cake was not even removed from the original box. Food wasnt great but did come on time. Saturdays are extremely busy, book during the week to avoid chaos. ***This review is the result of unfortunate experiences on multiple occasions.***
The restaurant has a prestigious vibe, and the food makes my tastebuds dance. The service was great, and the staff were very social. The food arrived faster than I expected, which was wonderful. The music made me want to get up and dance. The overall experience was fantastic. I’d recommend this for anyone who wants to have a good time with friends whilst eat a variety of African and Caribbean food. Deluxe restaurant
