Such a quaint little cafe. Inclusive of mums with kids, and everyone else! Ordered the pancakes for breakfast: reasonably priced but a bit small in portion size and could have had a few more interesting toppings. Their savoury menu is quite creative though. Will try next time. Friendly staff and a cosy setting. The sort of place where you could sit reading a book… if the kids aren’t too noisy!
With Bear + Wolf being Sarah M ‘s favourite brunch venue I don’t doubt I’ll be returning someday soon, but I won’t be complaining if I do. The only down side is that the popularity means its pretty hectic on a Saturday morning, but there is some seating and a friendly feel. The food itself is great with typical breakfast options, cakes, smoothies and coffees among other things to choose from. I had a frozen mango, apple and mint smoothie which was maybe the nicest ive ever had and my bacon roll was pretty tasty too. Looking forward to next time! londoncurryblog.com
Bear + Wolf is my new go to place for brunch or a latte to go in Tufnell Park. The food is great – enjoy crisp pastries, healthy granola or the meal in a glass smoothie for a quick breakfast, or go for the poached eggs and smoked salmon on sourdough if you’ve got time to sit around and enjoy your meal. The avocado on toast is pretty good too, but that smoked salmon is the bees knees. Don’t forget to get a loyalty card – I’m one latte away from a free drink.Warning – it’s a busy cafe and quite noisy when I’ve been, so it’s not the place to go for a spot of tranquility. The cub room is a great idea to keep kids occupied! But if you love a bit of hustle and bustle or want a natter with friends, I’d thoroughly recommend it. whatsarahdoes.com
