  AGRESSIVE MANAGER!!!My housemate and I decided to try this restaurant and after passing it on our way home several times. We both ordered sake, two portions of katsu chicken and one portion of rice. I ate a few pieces of my katsu as it didnt agree with me (cant specifically outline why) but I sent it back and explained that it didnt taste right to me and said I would order something new. I was not offered a replacement meal- pretty sure this is standard practice, if not sorry for assuming.When it came to paying the bill I said that perhaps being offered another meal as a replacement would have been good customer service. The manager/ owner then started acting extremely defensive, laughed at me and said it was my fault I over ordered. When I said I hadnt over ordered he said it was a reputable meal and that I was the only one that had a problem with it. The exchange became extremely confrontational and left me extremely flustered, so I quickly paid and got up to leave.On walking out of the door I heard him say funny f*****s so turned around and said excuse me. In retaliation he picked up his phone and said what? am I not allowed to find my own personal chats amusing. Now get out. I have never in my life been treated like this. It was appalling and I would never expect anyone trained in a profession that delivers services to customers to act in this manner. I will not stand for rude behaviour. A simple apology or statement saying that offering a replacement meal is not their policy would have been fine.Definitely do not recommend.

  I keep forgetting about my local Japanese restaurant a very small place, just a few tables, but what a treat to be able to get sushi so close by. Kami was previously Satuma, but still despite the change in ownership, having a good Japanese Restaurant as your local is a definitely plus point! I keep forgetting to take pictures on many an occasion that Ive been there, so this time I have. As my local, I like the fact that they have bento box options and one plate/bowl meal options, these being available at lunch mainly with a smaller selection at dinner. I always go for a tonkatsu don as this is my comfort dish.
