I went to Ben thanh this weekend and have to say it was a mixed bag. The starters were very mixed – summer rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was well balanced. However the beef skewers were a rip off and barely had any meat on them! Worse than this they were bland. The mains were fine, though the portions could have been bigger ; and they could’ve had more chillie too – always a staple of vietnamese food in my experience! Overall bigger portions and more spice would be nice
