Excellent cakes especially chocolate and hazelnut cake….staff is cheerful and very nice….and the coffee is the best in Twickenham area…..its me and my wife’s favorite deli in twickenham….haven’t tried any other food in there yet.
Went here for coffee with my family, the overall aesthetic of the place is lovely and although it is a small establishment we were quite comfortable. We ordered two teas, a latte, white hot chocolate and a herbal tea- sadly they did not have soya milk so one of my party had to change their choice. I then ordered a sandwich and had to wait a good twenty minutes for it to arrive despite the fact we were pretty much the only customers there. When it did arrive it was nice but shouldn’t have taken twenty minutes as only the bread was warm not the whole sandwich. We then ordered a slice of cake however this never came to our table. After paying our bill which was pretty over priced for only a few drinks and a sandwich, we left disappointed. The staff were uninterested in the customers and clearly couldn’t run the place properly. I am a local to Twickenham and always want to support local businesses but I wish I had gone to H&H instead. If you want good coffee with mediocre staff then this is the place for you but there are plenty of other places which give 100% everywhere.
