Pros: warm service, amazing food, homely decorCon’s: can’t think of any Tip to the customers: make sure you try their mocha and poached eggs its simply amazing. This place is a small joint run by a mother daughter duo( it looked like they were family not sure though).I have had breakfast here a numerous number of times and I wasn’t disappointed. The place has a homely feel and the owners make sure they make you very comfortable. They have a variety of breads which is baked in-house and tastes wonderfully well. The eggs are also done very well. I have mostly visited this place and loved the way they made poached eggs. They make some amazing mocha as well. I just loved it. I could see a lot of regulars visiting here.Drool factor ? Poached eggs and mocha Hole in the pocket? Not at all they are priced moderately and definitely worth the money paid

Lulu’z is wonderful if you want to order a cake handmade to your own specifications. I have been for lunch and coffee many times and I seem always to succumb to the temptations that abound on display.

A rather great little independent cafe! If the aim is to provide a relaxing, friendly environment for some lovely treats, Lulu’z excels. Everything on show looks delightful, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the food is all homemade. I couldn’t help but buy a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and they were both delicious. The lady serving me knew exactly what was appropriate for me to eat after I asked her which cakes contained nuts and which didn’t, and she was completely understanding the whole time. Both of the people who served me complemented the charming vibe of the place – they were polite and easygoing, and great service was given at all times.I haven’t had the fry up there, but hear very good things: I’ll be going back for one!

After a rather unpleasant start to the day, we decided to grab a quick bite for lunch locally and opted for LuLu’z. I am so glad we did as the experience turned my day from a negative into a positive within minutes. We received a warm welcome and decided on iced coffees and the brunch muffin which consisted of delicious sausages, bacon, eggs and a really tasty slow roasted tomato – the first time I have seen my partner eat a cooked tomato in the 8 and a half years together! The service was friendly, the food was prompt and so delicious, I couldn’t believe what good value it was. After we finished we decided to take a couple of cakes for afters and the lovely lady serving us spotted that I am pregnant and so talked me through which ones had a lot of egg in such as the custard tarts. We went for a townie which was a buttery pastry case filled with a delicious chocolatey filling and topped with walnuts and a refreshingly light blueberry cheesecake. Overall the only thing I’m sorry about is that it has taken us so long to finally get our bums through the door. Absolutely fantastic!
