Came here on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant and atmosphere downstairs and outside is great. Unfortunately we were seated upstairs in the small room. We ordered the grilled halloumi to share and steaks for our mains. The food was really good, well presentedand the steak cooked perfectly.Unfortunately the service wasn’t so good.We weren’t allowed to havethe carafe/jug of water on the table. Having to ask to be topped up made us feel awkward. The table was wiped down in between courses with awet cloth which left us to dry it off with our napkins and when paying with cash the waitress asked if we wanted our change. If those things don’t bother you so much then this is a great little find. I would definitely go back for the food. msfoodblogger.com
Came here a couple of weeks ago. Great atmosphere. We sat outside as it was a lovely evening and they even provided blankets. Excellent food, service and wine. Would highly recommend ordering the lamb! Will be back soon.
Ambiance: such a lively place, in a jiffy your mood just swings up, while u soak into sun light as this place is not covered by walls rather covered by glasses welcoming sun light. This place has got even open place with bright colorful flowers hanging in pots.Food : I am a salad fan so I tried salad.Salad was so fresh, the roasted bread crumbs, with the fresh leaves, tomato, feta cheese, roasted egg plant slices made a very refreshing salad. The varied textures in salad made it a memorable experience.Chicken skewers were slightly overcooked. But tasted good inspite of that.Pimms cup : when they served it, for initial few sips I was disappointed, but later once it was infused properly I just loved it.Dessert we tried a pie with butterscotch icecrream, with caramel sauce it was absolutely stunning. With Mohit Pai
Pros : Lovely set up , good food, good quick serviceCons: Very less options for veggies. This is placed pretty close to the main road ofTwickenham, yet away from all the hustle bustleof the road and it immediately sets you in the mood to enjoy a calm and peaceful meal. They have a wide range of nonvegetarian food and have very less of the veggie options. They have both outdoor and indoor areas so you can enjoy a meal under the sun during summers and get all cosy and warm during the winters to enjoy your meal. The food is mostly Mediterranean, I had ordered some grilled prawns in tapas for food and it was grilled to perfection the prawns were juicy and had a good balance of flavours. They serve a wide range of meat and one of my friend tried the rabbit at this place and it was pretty well cooked. For drinks i had the cafe mocha which was done very well the flavours were rightly balanced and felt wonderful on a rainy afternoon.I would recommend this place for large groups, office lunches, catch up with friends.Drool Factor ? The prawns are definitely drool worthy !!!Hole in the pocket ? Its decently priced for the quantities they serve.
Great food and friendly service, large outdoor area in the summer, great for bringing the dog with us on warmer evenings, recomended !
Tasty food, slow service. Lovely Spanish restaurant situated in Twickenham, they serve tasty tapas, good size portions compared to some Spanish tapas bars/restaurants in London. The food is always fresh and well cooked. Selection of meat, fish and vegetarian tapas. Excellent dessert menu.Avoid paela, it is very dry and 90% rice. The only downside is extremely slow service. Expect at least 30 min for starter to be served as well as in between meals, and sometimes longer (Friday and Saturday evenings).Seating area upstairs and outside. Booking is recommended for weekend evenings and for larger parties 4+Buzzy atmosphere with music in the background.
Fantastico Tapas. Pincho is located at the bottom of the popular Church Street in Twickenham. It’s location is is great with a small square otside that acts as a suntrap and is quiet aswell.I dropped in for lunch as after having some bad experiences in the street lately was a bit nervous. But there was no reason for this whatsoever. We ordered a numbber of tapas and every single one was outstanding. The highlight were the seafood dishes that were cooked to perfection and fresh. The service too was great very knowledgable and mediterrannean. So all round well done Pincho and fully recommended!!!
