Pros : Centrally located on the main Twickenham road, Eager staff good service.Cons : the food needs improvement, menu needs to be updated ( the staff told they are working on a new menu ) hopefully this is sorted out soon.I visited this place on a sunday afternoon and just like all the restaurants it looked deserted however it was open which was good. The Ambience is pretty ordinary its a small diner but they have decked up the place pretty thoughtfully and arranged the tables very well making optimum use of the space available, they have a small cute bar area though they dont have theliquorlicence as yet but they have provision for it and its pretty cute.Coming to the food i ordered some Bruschetta for starters and a chicken breast cooked in some authentic Sicilian wine and sauce for main course. The Bruschetta was a total disaster he had used some pizza base and sprinkled some tomatoes and was a total let down i just couldnt eat it after one bite. I told the waiter that this is not according to my expectations and he was kind enough to take it away and did not charge for it. The chicken main was pretty decent though i felt some part of the chicken was a bit over cooked and chewy but it was done well. The mushrooms which was part of the chciken starter were delicious and had all the flavors in the right amount. The service was good and so far my experience was pretty average and then the chef made me an offer i couldn’t refuse he gave me a desert which was on the house and it was deliciously chocolatey and loved every bite of it and this made the experience much better.Drool Factor ? Nothing drool worthy apart from the service here and the food is average at best.Hole in the pocket ? i paid around 17 pounds for a main course and coffe which i felt was on the expensive side.
