Hiya all,I must just say before this review that I’m a single guy 45 lived in upminster since 1973 and a bit of a loner,new years eve parties are busy but bright with lots of pure energy a good night for a new year,Although the dcor is warm the tables and chairs are a must to relax in the prices arnt to steep a good cheerful bar staff always polite.Sad news as always if ur a bit of a loner then expect to be ignored and just be picked on by some of the local lads, not a good time for a loner I’m afraid and can happen a lot even sworn where to go mate if ur not into chatting with anyone, ladies just forget that thought too. that’s why these family pubs are as they are just for family and friends and not loners,this is why I only go out for nights out 1-2 times a year these days.all the best john b
