I have been going here since it opened years ago and I have never been disappointed or had any problems. The food is delicious and used to be really good value for money but they have increased prices so I dont go as often as before. I usually get the lobster marinara or the pepperoni pizza as the food is all halal. The calzone and lamb chops are good too. The Sea bass was pretty bland last time I had it but generally the food is always good.

Edit 2018: Went there again this February and things haven’t changed much. There wasn’t even anyone to show us to a table when we got there, the kitchen staff ended up telling us to wait a little. Food was average, I had the chicken burger, the kids had pizza and speg bol. Food is good and always has been. We’ve been going there since 2009, and our favourites are the burgers, the lamb shank and the melanzane. The pizzas are fine too, and it’s nice that they have a ‘make your own’ calzone. The waiting service was majorly poor the last few times we went and is now at a level where I won’t go there anymore if there are more than 3 or 4 occupied tables. On my last visit, I took guests there on a Saturday evening for something different (halal Italian), but after 40 mins they hadn’t even brought our starter, which can be tough when you’re with young kids. The very inexperienced waiting staff kept telling me they didn’t know how long and there was nothing they could do. I emailed the management, and after almost 6 weeks I still haven’t heard back, which I guess is a continuation of the poor service. Such a shame as the food is rather good.

This used to be my usual spot for breakfast where I used to start my day with a medium cafe latte and chocolate cake. They have a large menu to choose from but my usual order for lunch time would be the tandoori chicken panini which I very much enjoy every time. However I wasn’t impressed by their services as they had me waiting a long time one morning which led to me being late for work. Other than that if you’re looking for food at reasonable prices then coffee max might be the one for you.

Coffee max is a great spot for lunch, but only lunch. It seems to be an Italian themed cafe however it’s not clearly positioned. There is a selection of pastas, pizza and paninis available, along with a range of hot drinks. The brown themed interior makes a cosy setting for lunch, but the service can be lousy at times. Price is slightly over priced as it doesn’t quite match up to the brand and location.

Excellent Halal restaurant – steak with peppercorn sauce is fantastic
