I went to Kennedy’s today. I ordered a Large Cod and Chips plus a cup of tea. I waited for around 10 minutes. The Cod that waa brought to me was obviously a regular size cod. I called the waitress and asked if this was actually a large cod. She confirmed. Now I have been there sometimes weekly but on two occasions they have gave me regular size cod instead of large cod. Probably when they don’t have a large cod they will just give you whatever size and hope for the best. This is really disrespectful towards clients. The waitress came by after my complaint and refunded me. She did not apologise for the mistake or make any sort of acknowledgement. It almost seemed as if she had done me a favour. This is so ridiculous and pathetic.
You cant go wrong with fish and chips at Kennedys. I love the interior of the place and its one of the few chippies I dont mind sitting inside and eating. They have good portion sizes…I couldnt finish a small portion alone (see photo).The staff are really friendly and make an effort to chat to their customers.
