I actually had a very bad experience here due to rude staff, lady with long blonde hair in particular. I would buy a coffee here every morning. When this cafe had issues with their EFTPOS machine I would go out of my way to get cash out for them. When their machine was up and running they said you must spend a minimum of 5. I said I only want a coffee and I’ve already eaten breakfast, but the lady didn’t care. I tried to support a local business but it seems like I’d get better service at the starbucks or Nero down the road.

Coffee was bitter, poached eggs were cold, smashed avocado was unseasoned, bread wasn’t toasted. My friend asked for butter with his two slices of toast (2.50) and was presented with a lump in a shot glass. Our waitress was lovely and offered a free coffee as compensation, but was shut down by the manager, who didn’t come over or even make eye contact when I told the person I was paying that it was literally the worst brunch I’ve ever had.

I wasnt too keen on going here as the online menu didnt have much choice for vegetarians but when I got there the menu was better. They also do fresh fruit juices which are really good. The breakfast was delicious, honestly the best I have had in Tooting. It is simple with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and you can taste the freshness. I am not usually a fan of hollandaise sauce but theirs is fluffy and light, made with fresh cream.Prices are reasonable too! My only complaint is that its a very small cafe therefore there is usually a queue so be prepared to wait. Also they forgot my breakfast so my companions had finished by the time mine came and they did not compensate for that however it was worth the wait!

Excellent! Great coffee and awesome food. Such a great find been here a few times and the Coffee has been great. It’s been hard to find a great coffee place coming from Melbourne. This cafe is surely up there. Food is excellent I had the corn fritters super tasty! A++

Yes it did taste as good as it looks! Granola for breakfast this morning. Yummy fresh fruit and the mixed berry compote combined with the yogurt was heavenly! Gingerella lived up to its name. Will try and sneak in another breakfast before I go!

Great for cage and brunch. I use to come here on Sundays mornings taking advantage of the nice garden and I am never disappointed. There a nice selection of imaginative dishes and excellent cakes to have with their very good coffee.
