Excellent service for our group of 11. The staff were more than accommodating and our platters were amazing, so much so we had to request they withheld the final dishes as we had been fed so much quality food Definitely recommend and we will return!
Four of ate at Tangia on Friday night, it was the first time for all of us. Decor was nice, service was fast and friendly and most importantly the food was great we didn’t have a desert but we shared starters and had a main each. We couldn’t fault anything, everything was bursting with flavour and we’ll definitely be returning in the not to distant future.
First of all thank you so much to all staff for making our evening so special. A special thanks to Mr. Mohammed who served us and recommended us all the courses we had, and he definitely got it right. The food is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Surely we will be coming back soon.
Went here for a quiet dinner with friends and the staff were an absolute delight. They went out of their way to engage my little boy and brought him some wonderful little portions of yummies. The wine was absolutely delicious and the food was really good as well. I tried the prawn starters and squid – both yum. The dipping sauce was also nice. The mains, veg tagine with couscous, perfection!
I found Tangia to be a very warm, welcoming restaurant with great hospitality. Nothing too much trouble, comfortable seating and authentic in setting too. The food and menu were impressive too; lots of grills, salads and tagines to choose from at very reasonable prices. My grilled sardine to start was a little sparse, with only one fillet on the plate, but it was perfectly cooked. Then the roast vegetable couscous I chose was also delicious and sat on a sweet and sticky raisin and chickpea sauce. This I found to be a little under seasoned, and I would have loved some more chilli heat but this is a minor point. I’ll definitely be back to try the meat dishes and really look forward to it
Great food, amazing staff and a relaxing restaurant. Cost us (2 people) 50 for 2 courses with a sides on the main each. Was very good value for the evening we had. The food was light and skilfully cooked, lots of nice touches like fresh baked bread and hummus were brought to us without asking and the owner/chef came and asked us about our meal as we payed. I like personal touches. Can not recommend this place enough.
