  Went there to have my first english breakfast it was nice but the egg was little burnt, service was too slow but the taste wasnt that bad specially the sausages they were really nice.

  Id driven past this place a few times & it looked great plus had an added bonus of being halal. I tried the Royal Victoria pie which is chicken & mushroom. It was a good portion size and plenty of chicken inside. It was quite sparse on the mushroom and overall the taste was ok. For 7.95 you can add 2 sides and I opted for mash potato & Mediterranean roast vegetables. The mash tasted from an instant mix and the roast veg was mainly peppers with a couple of slivers of onion & courgette. The dish was also served with a small pot of gravy which was definitely needed to bring it all together. Service was good, friendly & prompt. I was surprised at how quickly the food arrived at my table – within 10 minutes of ordering. Overall a pleasant place – Id probably try them again for other items. Limited on street parking for a short period is available during the day.

  Really appalled by the service and the food today. The customer service is appalling and lack of acknowledgement from staff is shocking. Went to this place for a late lunch, 3 adults two children under 5, we where given the option to wait for them to clean a table of sit downstairs, as we had children with us we went downstairs the table downstairs was dirty and I asked to be seated on another table they refused as it was a lame get table for 6 people and there was 5 of us, we was shocked and decided to take the seat given and of course didn’t realise the left the table uncleaned and had sauce go on my sleeve and phone. We was left at our seats for 20 mins and no one comes to take our order. What makes it worse we where seated near another table who also waited a while before someone took there order (who had three young children with them seating lower ground) and that’s only due to us being seated next to them upon arrival. After 20 minutes of waiting around and having two hungry children I had the right mind to walk out. But decided to stay for the children, get up and go upstairs to place the order, asked for all the food to come out together with the starters, a further 20 mins pass and no sign of staff or food. After half an hour they come down with the drinks. I asked about our food and the guy stated the starters have been ready for a while but I requested all the food to come out together so they will bring it out together. I was shocked, to which I asked if I asked for all the food to come out together why would the starters be ready and siting on the side for a while? The guy said he’ll go check and disappeared for another 15 minutes. Therefore was in the restaurant for exactly an hour now and no food. Finally receive the food and all the starters where cold, which was evident as they cooked it half an hour ago. However everyone else’s meals where piping hot. I sent the starters back and once again 20 mins passed no sign of them with my food. Everyone had finished there meals and I had nothing to eat as I stupidly only ordered starters. I was served the same food, reheated and over cooked. I was by then fed up with the service and decided to never go back there again and eat what I was given. Made me feel sick as soon as I ate. The food was tasteless and nasty not to mention applying service, had he restaurant been busy I would have understood but it wasn’t. I blame myself I should have known better and they had less the half a restaurant full of people and service was crap. We ordered a full English breakfast, and they ran out of mushrooms and gave extra beans – what a joke! Starters:Panko chicken wings – with no panko? Lol Cheese bites Chicken seekers Cox bazar pie – tasted like curry in a pie with no flavourHakka pie – also tasted like curry in a pie with a hint of mint no seasoning and awful taste. Bangers and mash – burnt sausages and instant mash and the kids was able taste the awfulness and did not have it. Overall if you want to have a pie here, your better off going to a curry house or staying at home. Save your money and don’t waste your time like we did. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL AND MY ADVICE SAVE YOUR MONEY!
