For a drinking place this is a good place to enjoy your pint. A great restored Victorian pub complete with original fittings. The beer is run of the mill but can’t complain about it as it was OK. The bar staff were friendly and customer focused which the queens up the road lacks. A pub should make all efforts to talk and chat with their customers to entice them back with good hospitality. It is normal priced beer, not overly expensive and you get 100 years of history to drink in. So go check it out and decide for yourself.
