Living in an area bustling with Portuguese cafes, shops and restaurants you do end up trying a little bit of everything, even if it’s for a quick coffee or snack.Machico is a typical portuguese cafe/restaurant – from the appearance and furniture to the staff, it is all very very typically Portuguese; the staff are friendly and like other cafes you automatically know who the regulars are when you walk in – they’ll be the ones laughing with the staff and watching you as you walk in.The food is tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed but enjoyable.
