Fri 14/6/13 12-13.30 . Found this spot while hunting for a tranquilish place to recharge away from the heavy traffic and after a night with very little sleep and a lot to drink. The reception by the staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Not miserable like a lot of places and the seated area at the back was clean, light and airy with just the noise of people chatting. I initially had a warm Moroccan flat bread with spiced lamb inside from the daily specials board. It was ok on taste but a little bland for my liking. Also a little greasy, but then that’s to be expected with lamb. It could def be improved with a slightly more substantial style of flatbread that wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the juices from the lamb. It had some rocket and leaves on the side which was nice but as with everywhere else, not enough. Cost inc 500ml water was 5.30 which is very fair. Esp for the convenient location. To finish off I had a large cappuccino and a slice of chocolate brownie, 5.00, and both were excellent. I will definitely keep this place on my radar as a place to dive into for a coffee or snack if I have the need In the Vauxhall area. It’s definitely above average for the area and does well at being a real food fuelling and coffee stop.
