Views were wonderful, it’s what you pay for. Menu was slim and food while good did not match the view . I would give it a 7 on a 10 scale
Good Times. Visited the Pnoramic for a birthday treat . The ambience was just perfect. for the occasion. We had the Taster menu without the wine. having selected a couple of glasses to our own taste. The food and its presentation was first class. Each course was described by our waiter and nothing was too much trouble. I found the staff first class in every way. When the bill arrived it was most reasonable for the food, drink, and service we had received. I hope to re-visit.
One of the best Restaurants outside London, the service was attentive yet not overwhelming, the food was most definatly fresh, well prepared, presented and dressed. Scollops and Suckling Pig Raviolli to die for, Beef main melted and the Chocolate Dessert was to die for.The evening view of the Mersey was stunning, who said Liverpool was not beautiful, by day and night it was excellent and the Panoramic topped it off (literally), the price was value for money when you take the service, view and most definatly the food into account.Excellent venue for a celebration, wanting to impress collegues or the wife.
Vegetarians Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!. Went to panoramic thinking it would be amazing and whilst the views certainly are, well, the rest just left me very disappointed. I departed thinking the chef must hate vegetarians as my only choice for a main turned out to be an (as the waiter described it) ‘al dente’ potato. I would call it a big slab of undercooked spud. (I was also not keen on the pidgeon pre main course appetizer). After admitting to not liking the main, I was asked if I would like a reduction on the bill, very embarrassing to say the least. Overpriced. Over formal. Fine dining that needs a lot of fine tuning.
Great company and there for a special occasion. Beautiful views and attentive service-food disappointingly nice looking but lacked taste and the wow factor- over priced will not be going back sorry. just dome back from yorkshire where we had eaten at the Pipe and Glass South Dalton by Chef James MacKenzie- Yorkshire Restaurant of the year. sorry no comparison AND half the price!
In my opinion the quality of the food and excellent service is well worth the price. 4 of us went last night 30/08/09. Can’t fault any of the dishes, excellent wine, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic views over the city.
Very pricey but worth every penny. The views are stunning and the food in my opinionis some of the best in Liverpool
