I found the restaurant quiet and almost ghost like, though i didn’t feel the food reflected this. They serve typical Portuguese food, i had the steak with rice and chips, it was beautifully cooked, tender and just the way i asked for it (medium rare) i found the waiter who served us was polite but maybe not as engaging as previous Portuguese restaurants whose staff are usually talkative and easy-going.The food came rather quickly and it was presented beautifully on the plate. as with most Portuguese restaurants, portions sizes are bigger than average. The ambience was very still and quiet as there were only us and another table there at the time.Overall, nice Portuguese food, quiet yet pleasant setting.

Im a regular costumer in pico bar grill and i must say that the quality of the service and the food is getting better and better and better . The only thing the place needs updating because its old fashion . The staff is very friendly . Keep up the good work 🙂

Shame-Used to be so good.. Ive been going to pico bar on and off or about 5 yrs now, and during this time ive noticed the quality and taste of food to slowly get poorer and poorer. This is not a cheap eat, therefore i expect quality food. They used to be great, and the service is still very good, but the food left me very dissapointed this time around. I ordered squid as a main meal and it arrived presented well, but totally totally tasteless and bland, as if it were boiled. I gave it away-i regret not sending it back now. The chicken wing tapas was unseasoned grilled wings-im sorry but another famous portuguese chain do a better job, There wasnt even salt on them-surely portuguese fod isnt this plain??the steak was good, but again underseasoned, too thick in parts, however u do get big portions. Chips and veggies come served seperately by the waiter off a platter and regardless of whose plate included chips they still get some, however its a bit unorganised and people who did order chips get less although they are plentiful. Bread and olives are served on table before starters and there is avibe here, and tv’s showing footie matches are situated in various points which is good, but all in all tasteless food. The garlic prawn tapas which used to be so delicious now needed salt and lemon in it for it to taste good and i detrst having to sort out my food at the table for it to taste good. The paella was bland, and just a pan of glorified rice, very plain, no flavour, couldnt taste the wine in it, it was just a savoury rice, one is enough for two. DO NOT buy two.The deserts are located in two large fridges and you can choose them urself, and you get massive portions enough for two to share-however again taste is poor and all desserts taste the same mousse like consistency, -u just get different versions of each one.

Local to where I work, it’s cheap and cheerful with a hood range of tasty food…decor us a bit non existent but apart from that worth trying if in the area

Massive menu, as well as tapas there is pizza, pasta, meat dishes galore. Somehow everything on the menu is good! Great Sagres beer too. Efficient if a little bossy service but that’s because they are so busy. Well worth a visit

Cheap and cheerful. Gets very busy once the office workers go there for drinks, but it’s well priced and the food is good. It’s very noisy, both from the patrons and the fact that it’s built into a large railway bridge, not somewhere for a romantic evening out.
