Attentive and welcoming waiters proving prompt service. Tried the King Prawns with Piri-Piro Sauce which I enjoyed. Also, I ordered the Duck Breast platter which comes marinated in a wine-based sweet sauce which I also liked. For dessert, I had fondant au chocolate was I found okay. The cake tasted good but was dry. There was barely chocolate coming out of it.
I’ve been going to Picos for nearly 10 years. Had my wedding meal there and I literally go nearly every week. I love the food and the service. It can get very busy which shows how popular it is. The price I think is very reasonable and 20 for a steak including vegetables etc all in is not expensive. The steak still is the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere and when I take friends for their first time they always have a great meal and comment positively about the whole experience. It’s my favourite place in London.
