This place is a real gem in Vauxhall, a friendly and quirky place with the best sushi i’ve ever tried and delicious cocktails, with nice and happy background music from the eighties. The bluefin tuna is to die for and the Scottish salmon so fresh to melt in your mouth. The owner, Leandro was very friendly and welcoming, i strongly recommend this sushi, far better than anyone else i’ve tried in Europe.

For a Japanese in London is always difficult to find proper sushi, and i’m very impressed by the quality and freshness of the ingredients used in this little but really interesting art gallery and sushi restaurant. They prepare sushi without those greasy and unhealty sauces usually added here in Europe and also have a really good bluefin tuna and amazing unagi chargrilled eel, impossible to find so good in Uk. The service was relly attentive, polite and always smiling. A little bit difficult to find, but when i called they send me a picture with clear indications, they are just outside the exit n.4 of the Vauxhall tube station and then easily recognisable by the colours of the light sculptures and pop art paintings. I’ll be back very soon with my Japanese friends.

Amazing sushi and pop art experience! Great atmosphere with music & art from the eighties and top quality food, this place is just amazing. Completely different than any other sushi restaurant i’ve tried, so far the best in London. Not cheap but you can taste why, the wild salmon caviar is fantastic and the Blue fin tuna absolutely the freshest i’ve ever tried. Interesting signature cocktails, the Frozen Bellini was delicious. The owner is Italian, very friendly and welcoming, he offered us a complimentary hazelnut Italian liqueur that was the cherry on the cake. I’ll be back with my friends soon!

The rolls have way too much rice in them. The rice is wet. Some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had I couldn’t eat it. Also super overpriced for what it is. Even fast food pre-made fridge sushi is MUCH better.

Finally, the sushi restaurant Vauxhall has been waiting for. Living up to its name, Pop Art Sushi serves as a modern art gallery meets restaurant. Featuring a bright, fun interior clad with modern art along the walls, restaurant goers will surely find the eclectic artwork a compliment to the overall dining experience.Taking advantage of the warm sunny day, however, my party opted to sit outdoors under a large umbrella. In a similar fashion, the sushi served at Pop Art Sushi is artistic, funky and certainly of evident caliber. Though the menu is a bit too salmon saturated, all of the dishes we ordered were fun to look at (artistic in their own right) and really fun to eat! We had the: Salmon NigiriSeaweed & BottargaUnagi Eel SashimiShrimp and Salmon GunkanPop Art Ikura (a signature dish featuring you guessed it, more salmon). I found the Shrimp & Salmon gunkan and the Ikura to be a particular treat. I will certainly be enjoying this restaurant again soon!

If you really are looking for something different you must go to this place. Sushi brought to another level, the fish is so fresh that literally melts in your mouth, top quality prosecco. The restaurant is also a pop art gallery…
