What better way to enjoy a summer’s day at the pub with a pint of beer in hand and river views? It was typical pub grub. The calamari had a nice flavor but the batter could have been crispier. The watermelon feta salad was simple but very refreshing. The chicken liver parfait was smooth but insipid as it lacked the peppery punch/brandy that I’m more accustomed to.The steak sandwich was less than average with grisly steak and the chips were overcooked, soggy and very floury.Hurrah for beer to wash everything down.The waiter was a sweetie too.
