Wow !. I’ve been living in Liverpool for a few years and I have to say, this is by far one of the best food I’ve ever had ! The menu’s cheap and you can notice the food is fresh. Recommend it!
Just the weather?. Three of us went for lunch on a Saturday, A birthday celebration really,so the only time we could get together. The food was good, the service excellent and the venue quaint. It should have been a dining experience and it wasn’t, why. It was cold, very cold, the place I mean. I know that we’ve just had a very cold snap but it spoiled our lunch. No use complaining ‘cos the staff were obviously cold as well. Such a shame a restaurant cannot exist on summer trade alone!
Good Night. Main course and Dessert were to the normal high standard. However a little disappointed with the starter, Duck Salad. Extremely small portion of duck plus too much oil on the salad. Staff were very friendly and polite and another good night out. However next time i may skip the starters.26 Feb, 2011Good Night Out. Visited the James Monro last night and had a fantastic meal. Can honestly say we have never had a poor meal at the James Monro and infact this is my partners favourite place to dine, hence we tend to eat here frequently/The two ladies who served our food did an excellent job, and as per ususal were very friendly and welcoming.Well done guys – keep up the good work.
