Ambience was cozy, and service was super! What really disappointed us was the food. We ordered a steak and a burger. The mashed potatoes that came along with the steak didn’t seem fresh. The potatoes tasted stale.
Another fine London pub falling victim to the Great British Pub Food menus, seems to be a cancer inflicted on these fine pubs, the pints are good stay away from the generic food, save a couple pounds and eat at macdonalds!
Proper Good London Pub. Great local London Pub. Next door to the now famous Goring Hotel that the Middletons stayed at prior to the Royal Wedding, this was my spot of choice to enjoy a top notch pub breaky (with Champers) on the big day. Added advantage was that we could pop out to see the Royal procession. Good local with sound pub grub.
